Our Garden

We are growing corn and watermelon in our yard. We are so excited to sink out teeth into that corn! We haven't had corn on the cob in over a year! The Italians grow corn all around us - literally. We see it in nearly every direction, however; it is all for feed :o(
Sooo, we are very happy that ours actually is growing, I'm not sure how it will taste, but we are ready to try.

Here is a picture of our first baby watermelon. The watermelon, and cantelope too, are very expensive, so we decided to grow some, and it's really taken over. Hopefully we will have a bountiful harvest of both.

So far we have five ears of corn growing, and a handful of melons, but the melons are just beginning, they are still flowering, which means we can have a whole bunch more!

You have quite the green thumb. I love fresh veggies. You and Emily are very talented to produce a garden like that. :)
