Emily's 4th Birthday

Ok, so I had a few more minutes

Emily woke up to a very princess like day. She was able to make almost all of her own choices for the day, with out much protest. She picked her outfits a few different times. One of the presents she got was her own laptop, princess version of course. She really enjoys it, she learns letters, words, math and more princess appropriate materials like dress up and matching shoes together. She had a wonderful day and even tells us now that we need have a house in Disneyland. . . I

wonder where she would have come up with an idea like that?

Emily's School Birthday

Emily did not have a birthday party at home with her friends this year because she got to have a fun celebration at preschool. The class made cupcakes and decorated them. She enjoyes being in preschool and interacting with all the other kids.

Here Comes Trouble

Joshua, what a little boy! Don't ask how the lawn mower ended up in the house, or why we "let"

him climb it. Or, why he is in the drawer! The first time it didn't fall over on him, the second time, sure enough.

At long last, the first steps! We couldn't be more proud. No more toting around a sack of potatoes :o) The great thing about him walking, is I can tell when an ear infection is coming, he looses balance. He has gotten the hang of things quickly. He has almost run a few times.

The Hair Incident

Emily, our little princess, took matters into her own hands one day in March. I took Joshua to the doctor, for yet another peek at his ears. I come home, Will says, "She said she cut her hair. . . ."So I find her and sure enough, she went into the play closet, shut the door and went to town. It started innocently enough, with paper, then her purple fuzzy ball/pillow, then her hair! What is the best part? Not only does she look cute, we can see her face. She would never let me put bows in her hair to keep it out of her face and when she would, she would ask if I could take them out only a few hours (or minutes, depending on the day) later. So, this way, everyone is happy :o)

Pisa La Torre

Here's the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This is quite a sad little story, it was doomed to fail after the original archetect started up to the fourth level or so. A few different men over a few hundred years worked on it to try and fix the problem, but obviously never could. It falls one millimeter a year and it was closed in the late 90's for repairs, so it wouldn't collapse.

Will's trying to do his part :o)

Dad, when we eventually get our own house, I'd LOVE your expert tile skills to help with this circle design.

This building is a church, a very pretty one too.

We stayed over night at Camp Darby, a military place, and Joshua is having fun with his breakfast.
