Venice

We made it down to Venice today! We had so much to see, it's really too much for one day. We saw a couple of the churches and some markets. We even took a boat ride to Burano Island to see some glass blowing and do some shopping. We walked a lot and ate some yummy food. Sorry Brian, I forgot to take pictures. We did stop into the McDonalds where we could have gotten a prosciutto (Italian Ham) burger. . . . . no thanks! We had a fun time, it was very intersting and there is so much more to explore.

Play Time

Emily is really enjoying her brother. Lately, she cannot get enough of him. She helped put his clothes on today and helped with his diaper change. Joshua also loves his big sister. He squeals and laughs when he sees Emily. Thank you Lord that these two get along so well - for now anyway :o)

Downtown Vicenza

We got a great tour of downtown Vicenza last weekend. Someone that Will works with took time from his weekend to show us the great spots, it was fun. We had breakfast at a bakery. Since Will doesn't drink coffee, he thought to try the hot chocolate, what a treat that was! It was like a hot cup of chocolate pudding! We had lots of yummy pastries. We walked around a bit and saw some shops, market squares and parks.

4th of July

We had a fun holiday. The post did a great job with lots to do. Will was in the mud volleyball tournament and hot dog eating contest. Will convinced me to do the pie eating contest. Emily had a lot of fun with the clown, (no crying for her ha ha ha) and the blow up bouncy things. Plus they had something Mike would really have enjoyed - STAR WARS

1st Haircut

Joshua got his first hair cut on 7/2/06. He did really well, he didn't fuss at all with the clippers buzzing in his ears. We decided to do it to even out his hair and Daddy was getting a haircut anyway. He's so handsome!!
