Finally - An Update!

It has been ages since this has been updated. I have pictures of Emily's birthday, Will working with his father, our new house, out at the river walk and at the space exhibit.

Merry Christmas, we hope you all have a special day celebrating the gift of our Lord's birth. We had a very nice day, it was quiet and went by fast, but really nice. We love you all so much and wish you a super day.

December 2008

Here is a picture of Emily with her hair cut. She looks adorable and the style seems to open up that beautiful face of hers.

I had just finished a crochet project and Josh found all my needles and the yarn I was using and decided to make an airplane, as he told me, very cute!!

This is Emily's first performance ever, she takes after her mother and at least got through it. She had her fingers in her mouth nearly the entire time, at least she wasn't giggling and distrupting the whole class. The best part is, she'll most likely grow out of this shyness, but she was sweet and looked beautiful the whole while :)

November

November sure went by fast for us. We are looking forward to December and all the fun the month brings. We got some snow last week!!! It was such a fun time for us all. This was the most snow we've ever had any where we've been (even though it wasn't a ton). We loved every bit of it. The kids especially enjoyed playing. We put Emily's old snow pants on Josh and so he could roll around in the snow too.

I made a train sweater vest for Josh. By the time I finished it, he'd grown and it was a bit tight, so lucky Adrian :) I understand if Adrain doesn't wear it, I'm not offended. I have a long way to go in growing my crochet ability. On that note, I also made a sweater for Emily, it turned out nice. She picked the yarn and is very excited about it. The hardest part was putting the sleeves on. . . . Practice makes perfect :)

Emily's Tooth

Emily has had two loose teeth for a few weeks now, actually about a month. Today one of them was loose enough she pulled it out on her own!!! What a brave girl. I have to admit, I was getting really tired of watching her play with it and it sticking out of her little lip when she played. So I said, "Emily, why don't you try to pull it out?" So she did and it actually came out. She was quite surprised that it did come out and very proud of herself too.

First day of Kindergarten

Emily went off to her first day of Kindergarten today. She was very excited. Once we got ready, I dropped her off in her classroom. She got a bit nervous once we were actually there; as you can see.

Emily's teacher, Ms. Ginn, posed with her this morning. Josh and I waited at the park for a few minutes before Emily's bus came.

Here is our big girl!!!

She had a good day! The best part of her day was seeing her friends.
