Nuschwanstein Castle

The castle is located on the mountian, and driving is not an option. We parked at the base of the mountian and took a horse and buggy ride up. We walked the way back down.

Emily got a little tired.
Will went up to see the view a little higher, we waited down below for our tour.

We went to see one of King Ludwig's castles, last time we saw Linderhof Palace. The same king made this one, which Walt Disney was inspired to make the Disney castle from this. It was beautiful, and sad, because of the short life of King Ludwig. He truly was interested in fantasy and creativity but never lived to enjoy the enormous, beautiful castle long.

Knock, Knock, Knock
This is one of the views from inside the castle, I think it was from the King's bedchamber.

I love the picture of Emily knocking at the castle door. Wow, what an experience! Great pictures!
