"O" Day

This last Friday, we had Organizational Day with
Will's unit. We went to a lake just a few miles away to play games and get together.
We had a fun time. Will played volleyball, & dodgeball and I played bocee ball. Emily loved playing with all the kids there. Here is even a picture of me. :o)

Hanging Out

We had a pretty good weekend, just enjoyed the cool summer weather. Apparently August is supposed to be very hot and humid. No complaints so far :o) The kids are well. Joshua FINALLY had his top teeth push down, the front two anyway, the other side ones are not far behind. Emily is good, she has a lot of fun playing with a neighbor girl, nearly everyday now. Not much else to report. We hope everyone is having a great week so far! We love you!

Out and About

Here are a few more pictures from our drive out in Vicenza today. I finally got a picture of the little tiny cars around here. The inside of the tower is filled with these little Smart cars. The name of the brand is Smart, they are not "smart" in any technilogical way - I asked.

Pizza & Ice Cream

This is the mall We had fun today going to the "big mall" for the first time. There isn't really anything that different about it from any other mall. We did enjoy going through it.

We had pizza and ice cream for lunch. Joshua didn't really like how cold it was at first, but soon learned to LOVE it. So much so that he got Emily to share with him after he helped Mommy finish hers!

Joshua is enjoying a yummy dinner. He sure loves to eat, it seems as if he never gets enough. His favorite foods are: bananas, apples, peas, squash, zucchini, cherrios, strawberries, beef. He also likes plums and peaches. Actually, he really isn't much of a picky eater. Those would be what he really enjoys though. Emily has been such a good "mommy." She will cook some food for her babies, in her kitchen, and set them up in a chair and lay out all the food. She'll sit and talk to them while they eat. Another thing she does that is so sweet is she pretends her baby is crying and will cuddle him up and say, "shhhhh" to the baby and then tell me the baby is crying while she paces back and forth. This kid has a good memory. That is what I would do with Joshua when he was teeny tiny. Now that he is a big boy, he gets excited and kicks his legs while I'm walking up the stairs to put him in his bed for a nap.

Picture Time

I just couldn't resist these smiling faces today. Joshua was pretty grumpy yesterday from teething. I guess they're taking a break today, he's all smiles :o) We are having a cool and rainy day today. Emily is really looking forward to dance class this afternoon, getting out of the house. The cool air sure feels good though! I have some more unpacking to do before I start taking pictures of the house to send out. Things are coming together well.

Dance Class

Here are a few pictures from Emily's first dance class. She is taking "creative dance." She is having fun being in a group. She was so excited to go again today. She does a good job clinging to my side. Joshua has a great time too. He enjoys the music and the little faces to see.

There is a little girl in her class, about six months younger than Emily whom she already knows, and a neighbor girl too. I think it helps her feel a little more comfortable knowing some kids already. The teacher has a lot of patience too, which is great! Hopefully this will help Emily come out of her shell a little.

Muddy Boy

Joshua was in for a surprise when he was outside with Daddy while he was watering. It started out ok. . . . .then it was all over!

Cutie Pie

Here are a few pictures of Emily. I just couldn't resist the way she looks today. Plus I was SO happy to finally put some bows in this girl's hair; and they DON'T fall out! What a miracle :o)
